Sukisyo: Episode 02

This series is turning out to be such a big trip. The heavy sexual innuendoes stupefies this audience member. Given the origin of this title, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised at all.

Aside from the obvious yaoi-ness, the treatment of the storyline is very much similar to a budding shoujo romance with a love-hate relationship. And the fact that our main couple shows signs of schizophrenic state of mind fascinates me even more. Chibi moments are less this time around but with Nao dressed in a princess outfit more than made up for it. Now I know, Sora is supposed to be the aggressor.

As of now, my reason for watching the title is primarily for eye-candy purposes. The subsequent plot remains a secondary interest. However, if the Sukisyo rise to the occasion and proves to its audience that it can incorporate smart storytelling to its fanservice, this might eventually gain my respect, storywise. (I doubt it, though.)
