Despite the filler-ish storyline, I’ve enjoyed this latest chapter since Haruka finally finds an answer to Sugino’s constant litany about his belief on humans and demons. The entire Reiko-and-her-love-for-books plot is not exactly just a throw away episode. Instead, it emphasizes the possibility of a peaceful co-existence between men and monsters. Haruka’s realization is potentially pivotal in the upcoming major arc especially with Minamoto Raikou involved.
