Sukisyo: Episode 04

Screw the Super Bowl, I’d rather watch Sukisyo and be entranced by the adorable characters. This title’s odd charm had me madly digging info across the internet which definitely tests my googling prowess. I never been this gung-ho in any other shows under this genre, but Sukisyo just has one of those weird things. To those curious, the result is a waning retraint from purchasing the PS2 game. As if episode two isn’t enough to satisfy the cosplay enthusiasts, the latest installment offers more drool-worthy images for fangirls (myself included). Now, if you’re a big Mamoru fan, you’d probably die with a heart attack, for at least five characters dress up in a variety of Tuxedo Kamen outfit. Yes, all in their flaming glory.

I think I realize now the intensifying addiction to the series. While the bishonen bait is definitely a draw, the movement of the storyline which mimics the mainstream shoujo romance narratives persuades the audience members *coughs*fangirls*coughs* to identify with the protagonists. Or it could just be the darling chibi moments…
