Fantastic Children: Episode 17

Major spoilers ahead. You know the drill.
If Tina thought she and her beloved Soran will live happily-ever-after, she is sadly mistaken. Unbeknownst to the people of Girishia, their peaceful lives are about to be shattered. A plot against the king is taking shape and a bomb is planted in His Majesty’s quarters, leaving Tina severely injured. The gentle king becomes mad with grief and orders the kingdom’s brilliant minds to ignore the dangers of the Zone in order to save his daughter. The scientists reluctantly oblige to the king’s command. And like magic, an unharmed Tina reawakens.
Ahhh…but this is only the beginning. The audiences are treated to a healthy dose of soap opera. Yes, soap opera. Here’s the tricky part. Reda, Tina’s mother’s appears without warning. And as if to add more complications to the drama, Reda is in fact, the wife of the king’s younger brother. Of course, the younger brother hates the king and decides to wreak havoc in his life. (Now, it’s clear how Sumas fits in all of this.)
Whew, this is why I love exposition episodes. After crumbs of information during the first half of the season, it’s B-O-O-M all of a sudden. My mind is about to go haywire with all the plot threads it’s processing.
