Major: Episode 09

Whee, what a wonderful way to wrap-up the weekend. Another Major release for leechers. I’ve been wondering, am I the only one who blogs about Major? I hope not, for this deserves more attention than it’s currently receiving. At least, its popularity is increasing. The number of people in Minor ja nai’s chan has tripled if not quadrupled compared to last month. It’s still not as big a number similar to more established groups but it’s a start. ^_^
Goro plays his first game for the little league against the adults. Unfortunately, his inexperience with a ‘real’ team made him play selfishly. Eventhough his skills are above average, he neglects to include the trust factor significant in each play. Of course, a little bit of tough love jolts him back to his usual self. The next episode will probably showcase the baseball action.
So far, nine-year-old Goro manages wormed its way to the inner crevices of my heart. A little bit arrogant and loud but still has a good heart. He realizes his mistakes and readily apologizes for it. Still, I miss little Goro…
Just an observation. Branding Goro as a genius (while it may have a grain of truth) is utterly unfair. Over the years, he immerses himself in baseball. First, through the guidance of his father, then, on his own. If he attained such level, it is not only because of his God-given talents but because of his hard work as well.
