Bleach: Episode 27

*gasp* I never thought that the Ichigo versus Ikkaku fight could be *this* visually impressive. Or at least, the third act of their match. The still shots and the black&white imagery stand out with a somewhat artsy flair. Wow, I wonder who’s in-charge of storyboarding for this episode.

Inevitably, Ichigo wins the battle against bald-dude whom has given him information on Rukia’s whereabouts. Being somewhat grateful to Ichigo’s kindness, he gives him a piece of advice: try not to face shiny-head’s captain, the direction-less Kenpachi (He should ask Zoro to be his guide. *lol*).

In the meantime, everyone seems to be running around. Mr. Sparkly still chases Ganjuu, Inoue and Ishida escape from the shinigami, and Sado tries to track down the comedy duo’s position. The gang is scattered all over the city.

After the unanticipated show of remarkable fight sequence, my expectations for the Kenpachi showdown increases. Woohoo, I actually am having high expectations for Bleach.

BTW, the ED sequence is different from the previous episode. The music remains the same, though. Nice concept of showing backgrounds (albeit spoiler-y) of various supporting characters. Now, I know why the animation looks a bit on tight budget. =D
