Fantastic Children: Episode 19

Three major events highlight the episode: Tina’s return, Hiisuma’s reckless decision, and Cook’s escape. Without a doubt, these actions will eventually merge to intersecting paths.

A few episodes back, the audiences are lead to believe of a more horrifying fate destined for Cook. As it turns out, the consequences of his GED investigation are rather uneventful. He is held prisoner on his own turf until he satisfies the duration of three months. However, a visit by Alice changes the scenario. He pulls the old switcheroo and escapes right under his guard’s nose.

Meanwhile, Hiisuma infiltrates GED’s old HQ to gather information on the Kirschner experiment. Unfortunately, the organization has prepared for evacuation and erased all confidential files from the computer system. To make matters worse, Gherta suddenly appears and confronts him. A little discussion takes place, then, surprise, surprise. Dumas shows his face.

While others parts of the story takes shape, Helga grieves for her newly found knowledge. She is left alone to mourn for her apparent loss. The next time Thoma catches a glimpse of her, he is shocked at the sight. The sudden rush of bittersweet memories has turned Helga’s black hair to a shade of white and dark eyes into blue.

Whee, three more episodes to devour. And off I go.
