Sukisyo: Finale

It’s over. My guilty-pleasure for the season has ended and I need to look for a replacement, STAT! Any ideas?

Sukisyo is never meant to be taken seriously (I mean, just look at afro-wearing cupid ep) so a dark ending would be too out-of-place. Even with its psychotic storyline and weak narrative, Sukisyo manages to provide loads of entertainment. And not only the eye-candy it obviously offers. Matsumuri’s devious manipulation for the Do-it-all team and the various SD scenes of Nao and Sora are enough to satisfy the hilarious moments for the series. Oh, and the massive, erm, teasing elicits too much giggling from this audience member. *blushes*

Aside from the convoluted storyline, the series suffers from horrid animation. Honestly, I try not to cringe every time I see the poor quality. *sigh* At least, the cheese-tastic music has given flavor to some otherwise bland scenes. BTW, whenever I hear the OP theme, I always think of Gravitation.

While a list of complaints could be a mile long, the overall effect of this show has been rather enjoyable (too enjoyable, at times). And if this ever released in R1 version, I’ll be the first in line to grab the DVD. Seriously, a mindless fun selection should be a required in any anime collection. =D
