Fantastic Children: Episode 25

Major spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.
I’ve been enlightened. Now, I know the purpose of Dumas’ cape — to conceal the humungous-sized weapon. How in the world did that fit without bulging? Is it a magic red cape? Or is the bazooka-thingie a foldable one? And what’s up with the size? Um, over-compensation, perhaps? Kidding aside, Dumas’ second revenge is a rather moving scene. He finally takes his stance and firmly holds on to his beliefs. His parting words to his father are words he had longed to speak ever since the fateful day of his mother’s death.
After such jaw-dropping revelations from the previous episode, this chapter simply deals with the ongoing plot threads. Gherta stands up against Dumas but paid the ultimate price for it (or so it seems). Ironically, Dumas does the same thing with his father. Fortunately for him, he has his trusty bazooka-thingie. How unfair. ^^;;
As for the romantic inklings for this series, can we just have a choose-your-own-ending option? Screw the soulmate. I want the childhood friend to get the girl, dammit. But I just don’t see it happening. Argh, it’s so frustrating. If my OTP is not realized, I must insist on a spinoff: Fantastic Children Alternative where my wish will be granted.
