Glass Mask: Episode 11

The latest offering from Glass Mask is jammed packed with plenty of story movement. The Tsukikage theater company heads for the national drama competition. An unorthodox troupe appears. Maya and Sakurakouji reach an understanding. The sinister director from Ondine executes his dirty plans. And Maya once again misunderstands Masumi’s kindness.

For a thirty minute run, the installment covers quite a bit of ground, to me at least. Everything is perfectly set for an upcoming performance from Maya. I’m curious on which scenes the studio will include for play itself. Truthfully, I felt those chapters in the manga are a little lacking. The adaptation to color and animation might change my opinion on the play. As for the troupe hailing from Hokaido, I think I would’ve enjoyed the piece they performed in real stage.
