Major: Episode 18

MJN and F-B are on fire. Truthfully, I’m surprised at this relatively quick release of episode eighteen. No complaints from this leecher, though. ^____^
The match against Honmoku ends with smiles and laughter. However amongst these happy faces, a young mother seems to be in slight turmoil. A few years has passed since Honda’s unfortunate accident yet those who were left behind still remembers. Amidst the bittersweet memories, a family is formed — Momoko formally adopts Goro. Goro grows up to be a cheerful young lad, albeit arrogant at times while Momoko plays the role of a loving mother. Both are content. Yet it seems the reintroduction of Shigeru to this little family’s life might have significant consequences for the mother and son pair.
I understand the episode only shown mere seconds of Momoko’s guilty thoughts. But it is a shadow of things to come. I’m really looking forward to Shigeru and Momoko’s story.
I don’t play nor watch baseball, so the plays are pretty much alien to me. But to my uninitiated eyes, the plays on this episode seems normal enough. There are no unexplainable power ups, no uber-strength, and not even a spectacular display of athletic prowess. The win against Honmoku is a combination of skill, perseverance, and plain luck. Yes, I sound like a broken record but I do love this show.
update: I kept calling Shigeno by the wrong name. For some reason, I thought his name is Shigeru. Sily me. Anyhow, I’ll just leave the error alone.
