One Piece: Episode 153

If you ask me why I was compelled to choose such repetitive screencaps to accompany this entry, I’m afraid it’s just because I thought Luffy looked wacky on it. I’m dull that way. ^^;;

A destination is nothing without a proper greeting from its natives. That is, if you want maximum enjoyment from a dangerous adventure. I presume, the welcomes given by the white sky’s gigantic creatures and the masked warrior are greatly appreciated by the Straw hat crew. Okay, maybe just by Luffy. At least the rest of the crew will have more war stories to tell over campfire. But I digress.

The abrupt change in altitude causes breathing problems for our favorite pirates. So it takes real effort to beat the sea creatures. And regarding the masked warrior, they were helpless as kitties. Fortunately for them, a business minded good Samaritan is there to save the day. However, the mysterious knight of the sky flies by without even telling a significant advice to heed.

So on with their journey until the crew reaches the Heaven’s Gate. Only to meet not-the-most-angelic-being one can imagine. I hate to say this but my reaction to this winged person is pretty much the same as Luffy’s. Except his’ is funnier.

BTW, Nico Robin might be cool in many ways but her powers freaks me out. Ugh.
