Glass Mask: Episode 18

Oh, dear. The second ending theme is beginning to annoy this blogger. I vote for the cheese-tastic first ED to make a come back. The disco-esque dance groove is driving me nuts.
Maya plays a creepy life-sized doll in the next project of Tsukikage-sensei. A logical suggestion would be to propose the use of a real doll for A Stone’s Smile. But no. Tsukikage-sensei would rather utilize a live person to do so. Why? Well, why not? Embodying a lifeless thing through all acts is an extremely difficult role. With only a few plays under her belt, Maya is considered a newbie in acting. Her raw talent and charisma shine in stage. Much so, that it sometimes causes difficulties in an ensemble, as seen in Wuthering Heights. Flexibility is Tsukikage-sensei’s purpose in casting Maya as a doll. She needs to learn how to merge with her fellow actors’ wavelength to keep a balanced and united front for the audiences.
Off topic. To those wanting longer summaries for each episodes of Garasu no Kamen, thank you for the emails. I appreciate the kind words of encouragement. But understand, it requires quite an effort to write very detailed descriptions, especially if only armed with writing skills hovering over the barely readable border. I try to allot a set time to compose one entry. Extensive accounts mean extra time to burn. More so, readers wouldn’t really want to trust my summation since I have very poor command of the language. Right? ^^;;
