One Piece: Episode 157

Luffy asks Nami, “What’s more important, adventure or your life?”. “MY LIFE!!”, the navigator answers. Note: Translations taken out from K-F’s release.

Any sane creature would’ve replied the same thing. Alas, Luffy is not exactly the average person. He does not willingly accept the common answer. Heck, he continually refuses to heed attention to any form of reasonable thinking. His skewed sense of priority takes over his brain. His crew suffers from his reckless behavior. Fortunately for the viewers, this makes very good entertainment. And to hear Luffy plainly stating how much he values adventures over his life always wring out laughter.

As the Straw Hat pirates prepare for take off, half of the crew members including the ship are abducted by a freaky, giant sea creature. Nami, Chopper, Robin, and Zoro are whisked away to the dreadful island where god supposedly lies. Meanwhile, Luffy, Sanji, and Ussop are advised by Conis and her father on how to rescue their friends. A dangerous trek awaits both parties.

Argh, I want to reread One Piece again. The Skypiea arc, at least.
