The Drawing Bug

Just like I said in the recent anime entry, I’ve been hit with the ‘drawing’ bug. Why? Erm, I don’t know either. It’s one of those days. The last time I really tried to draw anything was looking through the microscope at specimens a couple of years back. Anyhow, even without any skill whatsoever, if I set my mind to something (and I get all gung-ho about it), I’ll just do it. Sad to say that I even went to purchase some art supplies because of this bug. *sigh* Yeah, I’m dorky this way.

Here’s Mizuki from HanaKimi looking very girly. I copied it from one of the chapter covers. The colors are mine, though. I guess, I was thinking of Belle (Beauty and the Beast). Unfortunately, she came out weird. Not like her at all.

And here’s another from Garasu no Kamen. I already shown this in the Garasu ep20 entry. Like I’ve said, this is my first attempt to draw Masumi and Maya. Again, it looks kinda funny. I want to put some color but to be honest, I have no idea how to begin. Oh, well.

I’ll probably take a stab at other images later. Hmmmm. I’m guessing that I’ll lose interest in about two weeks, though.
