Tide-Line Blue: Episode 04

Tide-Line Blue is a series which I enjoy watching but here I am, in a middle of a seemingly endless rut. *sigh* At least, I’ve now managed to make through one single episode without being interrupted by one or another.

I was under the impression that Keel already has an inkling on the submarine’s involvement on the Yabitsu incident. But when ordered to clean the guided missiles, he realized the actions of this crew. I believe this is not merely a coincidence. Gould might have assigned this task to Keel in order to silently convey the harsh reality of the situation.

Mystery and intrigue still surround the series. The hints allowed to surface seem to be always with a purpose. It shows the strong foundation of the narrative itself. While I am not as enamored with it as I hope I would be, Tide-Line Blue continues to display a strong sense of storytelling. And yes, storytelling is always the first priority in my kind of anime.
