Glass Mask: Episode 25

I have mentioned this before and I’ll say this again. I absolutely love Garasu no Kamen’s opening theme Promise by Candy. Maybe I should order the single… Unless the soundtrack is already out too. My point is that even though we’ve reached the twenty-fifth episode, I have never been tired of listening to this track. Call it cheesy, if you will, but I find it too fitting for the series. Now, as for the second ED theme… that’s a different story.
Not even in Maya’s wildest dreams would she expect to be a TV star. Fresh from her performance as Helen Keller, she works in a big television production. She becomes well-known enough to be hired for major commercials and advertisements. Her rising star is met with indignation by a number of envious people. She even had the misfortune to have taken an interest with a very popular J-idol Takeshi, who seems to be mutually drawn to her too. Obsessive fans are not the type to take this down lightly. Television is not a good thing after all.
The progression of the storyline will soon reach a climactic event. Expect major angst. Keep some kleenex by your side for the next couple of episodes. And if somebody asks about the watery eyes, just mumble something about allergies. Hee.
One more thing, I almost forgot to mention Ayumi before I end this post. She can be one cold-hearted b*tch. Practicing her craft on some unsuspecting impressionable dude is pretty much heartless. >_ <
