Glass Mask: Episode 27

The new season begins with angst, as it should be. Maya is the verge of super-stardom, that is, until tragedy of the worse kind strikes. But of course, the scenario greatly benefits the back-stabbing girl’s plan to oust Maya from her reign. I forgot her name, so I will dub her as Back-stabby from now on. It suits her. And this is only the beginning of the season. GM is finally gearing up to my much favored part of the manga.

*sniff, sniff* During the second half of the episode, I began to sport red-rimmed eyes and a stuffy nose. It must be the goram allergies. No, I refuse to admit otherwise.

New season (sort-of). New OP/ED themes. ‘Promise’ the uber-cheestastic first opening theme still wins in terms of, erm, music (I did mention the cheese-factor), but the latest one has a rather interesting music video-esque quality which metaphorically show the eventual ups and downs of Maya’s acting career. Also, spoilers are shown too. Shiori will be making an appearance in the second half of the series. I am very much delighted. As for the new ED, let’s just say I will not be lining up the store to have it.
