Glass Mask: Episode 29

Lots of Ayumi lurv…. and of course, the inevitable Maya-Masumi moments. I now devolve into mush. *sigh*
Ayumi might deny what the audiences already know: her respect for Maya has deepened into friendship, albeit competitive. True enough, the rivalry for the Kurenai Tennyou spot has ignited her desire for revenge. Yet I believe it is affection which drives her to pursue it further. And this unlikely attachment to Maya is rather an unfortunate news for our very own Back-stabby. The underhanded maneuvering will be paid a hundred-fold. Back-stabby may rot in has-been (perhaps never-was) hell for all I care. The sparkly Ayumi lurv is all what matters.
While Ayumi avenges Maya’s honour, Masumi tries to ravage it. Erm, maybe that is inaccurate but it’ll be a great fanfic. Don’t you think? Although, if not for Masumi’s immense self-control, I believe ravaging would have been an option. Hee. Maybe not. I’m just saying… If one looks closely in the unconscious!Maya sequence, Masumi could have used another form of medicine dispenser other than his mouth. Okay, let me pause for a while as I once again conjure up the image. Ahhh… My mind goes putty. *inner school-girl mode ON* ZOMG! ZOMG! ZOMG! He finally admits his repressed lolicon feelings. *squeals in delight* As much as I heart Ayumi, Masumi lurv trumps everything. Damn. *inner school-girl mode OFF*
*sigh*
This grievous situation might be Maya’s lowest point but, oh my gawd, it is very good television.
Next episode. Maya bounces back from her stupor.
