Glass Mask: Episode 33

Tomorrow’s headline: Fangirl found dead in front of TV screen… In other news, Suzue-sensei, creator of Glass no Kamen is sued for a fangirl’s death.
Simultaneously munching on snacks and watching a GM episode does not mesh well together. Yours truly almost choked on a piece of pastry during a giggle-inducing Maya-Masumi sequence. How sad and pathetic. *blushes*
Masumi’s advises the Tsukikage-theater on worthwhile strategic advertisement. He then takes Maya on a boat ride complete with a civil and almost romantic atmosphere. His chibi-chan mentions her affection for purple-rose-dude and Masumi’s heart goes doki-doki. Now, if he just maintained this persona, things will be smoother. Unfortunately, he’s such a stubborn fellow. So after the Tsukikage group’s performance, he maneuvers the situation into one which would eventually favor Maya. But this way, pretty much reverts him into Masumi-the-creep in Maya’s eyes.
Masumi has a knack for eliciting ire from Maya. Their relationship takes on the one-step-forward-two-step-back dance routine. Whenever Daito-dude inadvertently shows his gentler side to his chibi-chan, he catches himself and once again tries to anger the actress.
Ahhh… may Maya and Masumi be blessed with plenty of fat children. That is, if Suzue-sensei does not go evil on us and decides to end the series with a dissatisfying finale (meaning: no go between Maya and Masumi). As for Sakurakouji, I’m sure he’ll find himself a nice gal. He should look up Mai. And for Shiori, erm, to hell with that obsessive woman. Erm, who is Shiori and Mai? Heh, they should pop up later on the series…
