Black Cat: Episode 10

Hat-dude informs Train that his former lover is still alive and kicking. A not-so-secret rendezvous is set. So Train dons on the angsty!BC mode to meet the psycho-rose-dude. Meanwhile, Creed envisions a heartfelt reunion complete with flowers and S&M. He even invited his colorful friends for what he has preconceived as an engagement party. A festival is indeed about to start. And no, I am not talking about the summit meeting. Hee. Alas, Train refuses him one more time. *sniff* Can you feel the heartbreak from the poor little psycho dude? Unfortunately for Creed, Train is currently in a new-ish relationship. And when Sven realizes that his partner plans to meet \’the ex\’, a suspicious streak appears. Awww, Sven, I had no idea you were the jealous type.

The funnies aside, I commend Black Cat for maintaining a strong narrative. I suppose, I am one of the minority who views the manga deviations as a positive sign. In all seriousness, I am rather impressed with the director\’s storytelling. The plotting is straightforward but it seldom loses momentum. The visual effects does not play second fiddle either. On top of that, he does not shy away from music variety. Classical and rock played consecutively and it actually works on the scenes?

Random thought. As much as I lurv Creed\’s psychotic persona, he still won\’t bump One Piece\’s Mr. 2 aka Bon-Clay as most flaming gay seat in my heart.
