Black Cat: Episode 12

Scenario. A luxurious bath with Psycho Rose dude in his nekked splendor as he awaits for his ex-lover in high hopes to rekindle the flame. Can this episode be more enjoyable? Honestly, even without the the awesomeness of the rest of the episode, I would\’ve been satisfied with Creed in his nekked psychotic glory. I\’m easily amused.

The re-introduction of three Chronos members, simultaneously shouting, \”Kerberos!\” after stating their names and numbers brings muffled giggling. However, the Saya dream sequence instantly sombers the atmosphere. Train morphs into his angsty old self and decides to seek revenge against his former flame. His current partners inevitably runs after him only to be held hostage. Creed and angsty!BC exchange blows until they end in a draw. Rose dude tries to taunt his lurv into submitting to him only to be coldly rejected once again. Train and company flees from the scene leaving Creed in bewildered agony. Ouch. I believe it finally sinks in that \’No!\’ mean no.

I\’m beginning to fall for Black Cat\’s director. Beautifully choreographed action sequences, experimental camera shots, loads of humor, a surprising injection of heart, and an endless supply of scenes ready for mocking pleasure. Oh gawd, I lurv this series.

Random thought. Can one imagine a tea party with Creed and HxH\’s Hisoka? I believe they will get along nicely. Creed will mourn over his ex-lover while Hisoka will lament on a forbidden fruit. Ahhh…. the stories they\’ll tell.
