Glass Mask: Episode 37

Just another play in Glass Mask. In fairness, the play’s story itself is rather interesting. I would’ve loved to watch that on live theater. Ayumi in evil mode is interesting enough, although it can be viewed as over the top. At least, a brief Masumi voice-over did wonders for my inner schoolgirl.

Still, the entire episode is mostly on the historical-type play. While on paper, it was an wonderful read, it did not translate well on screen. Perhaps the next episode will be slightly better than this. *shrug* I apologize for the indifference. But I really find this installment barely mediocre.
