Noein: Episode 11

It’s an exposition episode and we get quite a bit of quantum physics. Quantum Teleportation? Magic Circle Project? Quantum Potential? I’m sorry. I’m getting a headache. Can someone repeat that again? ;p

Uchida sums up the theory which those from Lacrima have been explaining throughout the series. She describes it in more detail but of course, all it leads down to is the potential destruction of the Universe. Depressing, isn’t it? As if this is not enough, she drops a bomb and informs the viewers the identity of Haruka’s father.

Speaking of depressing, Yuu manages to angst once again. I take back what I said about the mom being the source of Yuu’s mood swings. That kid is simply a nutcase. Or something. At least, after taking his anti-depressants he faces Isami and finally makes up his mind about the exams. A BFF-exchange ensues. Best Friends Forever. Ahhh.. the happy carefree youngsters. Little did they know that this audience member saw the scene between Karasu and Fukurou plus that very telling preview for episode twelve. I believe I must stock on my Kleenex supply as I await for the next sub release.

The second half of the episode sets up the next episode. The heartbreak seems inevitable. Argh. Why must I fall in-lurv with this series? Now I’ll be thinking all about this at work until the next episode comes out.

Random thought. Please. If there is an anime god, please don’t let this series finish off with a Twelve Monkeys theme. While I bow to the awesomeness of that film, my heart still breaks even as I remember how it ended. I really don’t want this series end in a circle. Please.
