Anime & Manga lurv (Loots Galore)


My anime/manga purchases these couple of weeks have been rather quiet. But yesterday, both my RightStuf and Columbia House packages arrived. And today, I happen to visit Best Buy and Borders. An eventful two days, as far as goodies are concerned. Oooh. meh lurvs goodies. ;p

Right Stuf. I love it when they have sales and weekly specials.

  • .Hack//Sign complete collection. I’ll be honest. I haven’t seen a complete episode of this series. Seriously. Since it seems to be immensely popular, I’ll be giving it a try.
  • City Hunter 2 complete collection. Same as above, I haven’t seen an episode but a friend insisted I should. If I don’t like it, at least I have someone to blame. ;p

    Columbia House. Even with their limited anime selection, they really have great deals on their DVDs.

  • Fullmetal Alchemist v.4&5. Must. Complete. The. Collection.
  • Burst Angel (Bakuretsu Tenshi) v.1-3. This is not exactly a priority in my list but I’ve been curious on how the rest of the series flows towards the end.

    Best Buy. I love browsing in this place. I was going to puy a new monitor but I ended up with these. ^^;;

  • Twelve Kingdoms collection 1 & 2. God bless the thinpacks. Juuni Kokki consistently remains in my top five all-time favorite anime. I’ve been meaning to collect all the DVDs but thinpacks are much better. In terms of space saving, I mean.
  • Gankutsuou v.1&2. Oooh. Purty.
  • Piano complete collection. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Yup, I’m smitten with Piano.
  • Samurai 7 v.4 Limited Edition. I don’t really ‘love’ this title that much. But the storyboards included in the LE box are worth collecting.

    Borders. I *always* proceed to a bookstore *after* going to Best Buy. They pretty much go hand-in-hand in my book.

  • Monster v.1. Simply a must read.
  • Death Note v.1&2. How can you not like reading about a dude with god-complex intertwined with a cat-and-mouse suspense?
  • Bleach v.10&11. Ack. I already have v10. I forgot.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist v.4-6. Also have v4 in my shelf. Must return it tomorrow.
  • One Piece v.8&9. Shoot. I have v8 as well. =( Next time I’ll bring a list.
  • Ouran High School v.2-5. I’ve been collecting the tankoubons as well. Since I really enjoy this silly manga, it’s inevitable that I collect the translated version too. ^_-

    Whew. I think I won’t be visiting online stores or even attempt to drop by Best Buy or bookstores any time soon. ^____^
