Glass Mask: Episode 43

Non-breathing is ill-advised whilst watching a poignant moment for Maya and Masumi. Yours truly nearly swooned as she watches the angst-y scene. A rather crass remark even escapes her lips once Masumi cowardly detaches from the heroine. Can they just suck face and get over it? ;p Unless, of course, there is an anticipation of a “Moonlighting” syndrome once the romantic tension is gone… With plenty of angst to choose from, I seriously doubt it.
Numerous “ZOMG!!” are uttered during the deliciously agonizing Masumi-Maya moment. But blowing raspberries are also prevalent at time where Mai and Shiori appear on screen. Boo to the other women. Suffer whilst troubled by your respective partners’ loyalties. Hee. Yes, a bit uncalled for but hey, this fangirl’s allegiance lies with the heroine. And I stand by the decision. Ahem.
A typhoon blazes on the play’s premiere. Armed with a solemn promise as the purple rose dude, only a single person successfully braves the devastating storm. The grateful artists perform wonderfully for their sole audience member. As for Maya, she begins to wonder the motivation of her beloved Daito head. In a rare gesture, she attempts to to dry Masumi’s damp face. A surprise look spreads through his face and this fangirl’s heart stops. Such a beautiful moment yet Sakurakouji’s instincts kicks in and takes Maya away from the scene. Damn you, Yuu. I’m pretty sure his instincts knew that what he saw was a dangerous development for the pair. But I highly doubt if he has knowledge over the true significance of what he had witnessed. Poor kid.
Erm, I just realized that the title of the play is Wasurerareta Kouya (Forgotten Wilderness) not Ookami Shoujo Jane (Wolf girl Jane). Ooops. ^^;;
