Glass Mask: Episode 44

Oh, my. Oh, my. The best of the Glass no Kamen volumes is coming ever so near. Tsukikage-sensei leaves for the birthplace of the Kurenai Tennyou myth. Maya wins her trophy to fulfill the conditions set to be back as a Kurenai Tennyou candidate. And most importantly, Masumi inadvertently reveals his purple rose dude persona to Maya. The air is crackling with absolute giddiness from yours truly.

Only a few episodes left — eight to be exact — before the title comes to a close. No doubt it will cover the much anticipated performances of Maya and Ayumi’s mastery of acting out the elements. However, I am truthfully unease on the director’s choice of finalizing the series. How can one conclude an unfinished title and at the same time give justice to the original material? *sigh*

More Masumi flashback angst for the next episode. Chibi!Masumi will make an appearance. Prepare some Kleenex as audiences realize the cruelty that is Masumi’s father. Damn that crazy S.O.B.
