Major: Episode 32

Color me surprised. Major unexpectedly returns from the dead. If not for Deeg’s positive remarks on the episodes succeeding the fifth installment, this audience member’s interest might not have been revived. Yet lo, and behold. The first half provides the requisite baseball muscle-flexing but the second half sends a curve ball which completely astonishes.
Man, what that Kaido recruiter dude did to Toshi is plain cold. Such a conniving bastard. Heh, I like him. Although sad to say, that has got to hurt. For Toshi anyway. Hee. Unleashing Toshi’s psycho look brings immense pleasure to this viewer. Call me a sadist, but this fangirl calls it great television.
Random thought. Whenever one encounters a work of fiction, suspension of disbelief is standard practice. This blogger has her fair share of incredulous and illogical surprises yet manages to swallow them whole, albeit painfully. Yet there are some things one cannot simply take. I mean, how can one justify in the world that the ‘kid’ from Seibukan, Amano, is merely a middle-schooler? That’s just… wrong. Then again, Yamane needs to explain himself too.
