Noein: Episode 14

Dum-dum-dum-dum. Plot device of the week (erm, episode) turns out to be something straight out of Twilight Zone sans the ghastly horror part. An old telephone connects Haruka to the past where she learns a piece of her parents’ selves. Plot device or not, it explains a significant detail to the quirks of time-space dimensions. Also, it gives away one terrific cliffhanger.

While story A continues, the B-side includes extreme cuteness in the form of chibi!Yuu and Chibi!Haruka. The cuddly moment between Atori and Miho does the job as well. Hee. Cutesy goodness. If Atori and Miho decide to be linked romantically, I’ll be the first one to congratulate them.

Hmmm. I always think of the Matrix whenever I see Haruka’s cat. The urge to cry out “déjà vu” is overwhelming. Yeah, I know. It’s insane. ;p

Oooh, a great Heart’s Day gift awaits me earlier. The eagerly anticipated Noein v.1 DVD and Noein OP single grace the front steps of the house. I sure wasted no time testing the items. Damn, rewatching the first episode in DVD quality plain rocks. Oh, and cute extras too. Haruka and Karasu’s seiyuu travel to Hakodate and show the actual places which were included in the anime. Good stuff.
