Black Cat: Episode 17

Why blacken the most interesting part of Creed\’s, erm, anatomy? The drawing isn\’t even up to par. *grumble* Why tease audience — just me, probably — instead of showing Creed in his whole nekked glory? A little fanservice wouldn\’t hurt, right? *grumble* Darn, my inner perv-y seeps through whenever I watch BC.

Another Chronos number appears. Train unmasks the true identity of the recruiter for the Sweeper Alliance. Shaolee aka Chronos\’ X turns out to be another angsty!BC admirer. Wow, Train sure is popular with his, erm, former colleagues. Although I have a feeling, a certain someone is more smitten with our black cat after Train imparts his pseudo-wisdom on sweepers. Hee.

The revelation sends the remaining sweepers into an indignant huff. They walk out of the commitment, only to come back again. Their distaste for Chronos pales in comparison to their desire to eliminate the Apostles of the Stars. That, and they really wish for World Peace. Now, who says sweepers are barbaric? Shame on you Shaolee.

Man, BC\’s action scenes tend to rock. The supposed Train-Shaolee face-off is halted by not-so-beauteous creatures which leads to a brief but satisfying sequence and a temporary Sweeper-Chronos partnership.

The little let\’s-be-friends scene at the end almost left me in disgust. It\’s too after-school special. *shudder* Ahhh… but then, the kaboom saves the day. What can I say? I like purty explosions.

BTW, who is Shaolee\’s voice actor? It sounds familiar but I can\’t place it. I have poor retentive memory.
