Black Cat: Episode 20

Psycho Rose dude is defeated. Audiences rejoice. Ahhh… but a Chronos betrayal is in the midst, and our resident loligoth turns evil. So begins the final arc. And this blogger prepares for the worst.

\”Why?\”, you ask. Simply put, audiences had anticipated the duel with Creed as the climactic turn of the series. The insertion of an unexpected twist, while refreshing, might lead to a loss of momentum from the high point in the previous arc.

But then again, audiences have witnessed the consistent solid writing in the series. Deviations from the manga storyline usually produce weak narratives. Yet Black Cat somehow manages to avoid the travesty, thanks to the superb storytelling skills of Itagi-sensei. As a viewer who enjoyed most of the season, I must sit back and learn to have faith in our director.

There is a seventeen point eight chance he\’ll fail us but I\’m banking on the higher probability of success.

Or so I say.
