There’s nothing like opening a package after a rather stressful night. I don’t recommend having your front tire blow up at midnight in a street without any sufficient lighting. Then, you realize that you forgot your cellphone and the two nearest gas station are closed. T______T Yes, it has been a long night. Needless to say, seeing a package at you doorstep is almost godsend.

Gokusen is a top favorite of mine, from the manga, anime, and the live action. Naysayers might mention the obvious comparisons to GTO but I dare say, I’d take this title over the acclaimed series, possible because of Gokusen’s target audience. Plus Yankumi and her student’s antics are simply laugh-out-loud hilarious. It also helps that Sawada Shin exudes major H-A-W-T-ness. Imagine fangirl drool-age when MatsuJun is cast as Shin in the first season of the LA version.

I’m loving the quality of this set. One can tell it’s not made with some cheap material. I was having second thoughts on this purchase since I was torn between this or the new HanaDan bunko set. I’m glad I got this first.

Hmmm. I should’ve waited for volume 13 to come out.
