With the assistance of his pet Holy, Ohm uses the incident as a distraction and assaults the Shandian and the swordsman. Wiper and Zoro sustain massive injuries in this attack.

So yes, this little setback is Wiper’s fault. And I am more than willing to put the blame on him.
