Psst… I have a secret

Secrets.

Everybody has one. And no. Not those momentous oh-my-gawd types. I meant, those little teeny slightly embarrassing details we try to keep to ourselves. For example:

Edit: Please skip number eleven if you haven’t seen Cowboy Bebop. I truly apologize to those who have been spoiled. I’m really sorry, Ariadne. I guess I messed up this one, huh? ^^;;

1. I know where my boyfriend keeps his secret hentai and pRon stash. I would occasionally take one of the discs out and put them in the wrong non-pRon cover.

2. I find Green Green TV disgustingly hilarious. That is, until it attempted to go for drama in the end. Boo for story development.

3. Midori no Hibi always makes me think of a hand job gone wrong.

4. Ayumi Hamasaki’s singing makes me cringe.

5. Except for the OVAs, I’ve never seen another episode of Rurouni Kenshin past the Kyoto arc. Same goes for the manga.

6. Yes, artsy anime can be thought provoking. But I become bored with half of them. Case in point: I tried to watch Princess Mononoke. I fell asleep after thirty minutes.

7. I actually like the much-ridiculed Lost Island arc of One Piece. And to top it off, I think Apis is rather adorable.

8. I claim to dislike Fushigi Yuugi. But I have the complete manga set (untranslated and translated) and some of the DVDs. And yes, I have read the manga and have watched the entire anime series.

9. I like cheating on polls. I would have tampered with Jason’s Chidori versus Belldandy match, if not for the fear of being caught. Hee. My money’s on Chidori, BTW.

10. I have yet to watch Akira.

11. If not for Spike’s death, I would’ve find Cowboy Bebop overrated. Any anime series with the main dude dying will always have brownie points in my book.

12. I don’t get the fascination with Nekomimi. I mean, cat ears? WTF!?

13. My first anime DVD is a pirated HK version of Fruits Basket. For more than a year, I thought those were R2s.

14. I hated forming essays in school. My English teacher would have been astounded if she knew of my continuous anime blogging for more than two years. Although she would not be surprised with the crappy writing…

15. My mom, my sisters, and I would secretly call my dad, D, for Dragon. He used to watch DBZ regularly when I was little. And he pretends he doesn’t like it.

16. I rarely watch my anime DVD stash. I just think they look purty.

17. I had nightmares after reading Berserk, marathon-style.

18. I will be using Blogger. Forever.

19. I am a dude pretending to be a girl. Well, maybe I am lying. Or am I? ;p

20. I have stolen borrowed the idea for this post from the latest novel I’ve read.
