Top 20 Most Played tracks (March)
A wide variety of music suits my taste. It simply depends on the current state of mind. Although, I have to admit strong partiality to slow-tempo music rather than upbeat ones. So here’s my playlist for the past month. I’m sharing files for the top five most played tracks. Spread the lurv, I say. ;p
20. Planet [JJ Lin] I’m not sure why I keep playing this track.. It’s not as if I really like it. *shrugs*
19. Samakeseo kkumkkuda [Lyn] Easy listening. I cannot gauge the limits of Lyn’s vocal talents based on this track alone but I’m really enjoying this song.
18. Sunglass [Loveholic] Very good K-band. It’s my kind of band when I was bar-hopping back in college.
17. Konayuki (Piano Version) [1litre no namida OST] I’m not sure if I love this song because of the J-drama. But whenever I try to listen to this, I get all quiet and melancholy. Darn, 1 litre no namida is such a tearjerker.
16. Mi Mancherai (Il Postino) [Josh Groban] Oooh. I don’t know the translation for this track. Don’t care, though. Also with that voice singing to such melody, one can already sense the sadness.
15. Glamorous Sky [Mika Nakashima] Oooh. Nana theme song. I’m not much of a Nana fan but Nakashima’s, instead.
14. HaNaHaMyuhn NuhWah Nah [Drunken Tiger] If I had a reason why I want to learn Korean, understanding Druken Tiger’s lyrics is one. I’ve been told that they write very entertaining and engaging lyrics. For now, I can only appreciate the fast beats and the melody.
13. Ikaw Sana [Ogie Alcasid] Gawd. This dude always produce heartbreaking Pinoy ballads.
12. Kimi No Tame Ni Dekiru Koto [Gackt] Meh < 3 Gackt. And no, it;s not because he is an attractive dude. Because honestly, he’s just not my type of guy. Anyhow, I do love his voice, especially when does ballads. His Seventh Night {Unplugged} Album is probably one of my fave j-music albums.
11. Home [Michael Buble] Remember the chick flick “Wedding Date”? Erm, I guess not. I wouldn’t either if not for Michael Buble’s Home.
10. Rainbow [South Border] Jay (Keyboards/Vocals) always manage to pen beautiful lyrics and music. Even after a decade, they still remain one of my favorite bands. Ever.
09. Prank [It Started with a Kiss OST] Ahhh. The first of the three songs from “It Started with a Kiss”. What can I say? I’m currently enamored with the TW drama. Yep, go watch it. ;p
08. Broken Vow [Lara Fabian] Friggin’ awesome song. Especially recommended if depressed. *sniff*
07. Ling [MARS OST] Major lurving for the MARS theme. I had low expectations in the TW drama. But as soon as this song played in the opening theme, I knew that if the drama is half as good as the track, it would’ve been golden. And boy, Mars LA did kick ass in so many levels.
06. Yuki no Hana [Mika Nakashima] There’s no suck thing as too much Mika Nakashima lurv, I say. This is by far, my top track in her name.
05. Kutsuzure [Black Cat ED2 theme] Hah. How can I ignore a BC theme? Well, I could but this one really caught my attention, partly because of my partiality to the ED sequence.
04. Summer Snow [Summer Snow OST] Definitely one of the loveliest opening theme for any J-drama. Although I think this is a foreign song, but I’m not sure who actually sang this.
03. Say U love me [It started with a Kiss OST] Another Jason track but now accompanied by Nanquan Mama’s Lara. I can’t say it’s bubble-gummy but it’s darn catchy. Try to listen to the track. I’m really lurving Jason’s rapping.
02. Nantokanare [Akagi OP theme] I heard this was a seventies’ song. Damn. I want to listen the album of whomever originally sang this track. The guitar riffs, slow drum beats… Excellent. I wonder if BECK can do justice playing this song.
01. Can and Can’t [It Started with a Kiss OST] With Jason’s effortless rap easily blending with Landy’s vocals, how can I resist? Jason really impresses me with his smooth stylings that I’m inclined to check out his group Iron Bamboo. And to think I’m not really into rap.
If I have to recommend five tracks in this playlist, in no particular order, I choose Natokanare (02), Ling (07), Can and Can’t (01), Broken Vow (08), and Mi Mancherai (16).
edit: I forgot to add that I got the ripped tracks from Nipponsei and D-Addicts.
