Black Cat: Episode 23: Finale

The good triumphs over evil. The Big Bad whimpers in defeat. Audiences expel sighs of relief.
Eden, the deceptive paradise, exposes Train’s innermost demons. Zagine, his mentor and his family’s murderer, materializes out of thin air. He taunts Train into submitting into the dark past; however, Train ignores the illusion. He chooses his friends and claims victory.
As soon as the humungous fugly blimp crashes to Earth, its semi-permanent dwellers automagically disappear. The hodge-podge alliance members set on a course towards their own lives.
Sven and Eve carry on their illicit affair. Rins play phone tag with Jenos. Leon, alongside Leila, Tim, and the kids, jumpstart a pan-filled career. Charden sexily wanders to the unknown. Kyouko cruises back into her school life. Creed (oh-my-gawd, he’s back!) and Echidna move into a picturesque landscape. The sweepers fondly say their farewells. Sephy, with the surviving comrades-at-arms, rebuilds the fallen Chronos. And Train happily drifts to his chosen path.
Black Cat ends in a predictable and not-so-predictable fashion. The good guys win and the baddies lose. However, Train’s separation from the pedo-loli pair poses bewildering thoughts. For now, he walks the life Saya once lived. But rest assured, he will soon join his friends. Someday. I have no doubt about it.
Itagi Shin, I heart thee. If you ever direct another series in the near future, I’ll be your gal. Seriously.
Random note. More thoughts later on. Maybe.
errata: It should’ve been Itagaki, instead of Itagi. Ooops.
