Glass Mask: Episode 50

Girl fight! Girl fight! Girl fight! Here is another round of Maya versus Ayumi. ;p The tension accumulated throughout the years reaches into its peak. The girls have no choice but let it all out. Hence, the not-so-lady-like fighting.

What amuses me most is the ridiculousness of their argument: Who is the true genius?

Maya: Aren’t you a prodigy?
Ayumi: No, it is you.
Maya: Wrong, it can’t be me.
Ayumi: It is you.
Maya: Is not.
Ayumi: Is too.
Maya: Is not.
Ayumi: Is too. Gawd, I hate you.
Maya: I hate you more.
Ayumi: I hate you most.

Slapping, scratching, clawing, mud-throwing and hair-pulling accompany their conversation. Moments later, both tumble, and they laugh.

Gawd. These two have issues, especially Ayumi. She even goes on about Maya having friends to help her while she’s alone blah, blah, blah. At least, nobody can accuse them of being boring. ;p

After their engaging encounter, Maya and Ayumi perform excerpts from Kurenai Tennyou. Ayumi’s elegance and Maya’s commanding presence impress the crowd. Following their routines, another act begins. Tsukikage-sensei once again inhabits the Kurenai Tennyou persona.

Whoa. One more episode to go and it’s finished. It makes me both sad and relieved.
