Gakuen Heaven: Episode 03

A letter started it all. Mr. Prez — otherwise known as BL King — entrusts the transfer student, Keita, to deliver a mysterious letter to all the team captains of the school. The secrecy behind the note awakens his curiosity but he dutifully performs the task. However, a duo of villains confronts him. They taunt his trusting demeanor. They plant malicious thoughts on Keita’s mind.

The encounter with the twin bitch sends the lovely heroine into a bout of self-doubt. He wonders if he is, in fact, straight — or possibly, bi — and not fit as a pure BL apprentice. Is he being teased because of wavering thoughts? Angst oozes out from Keita’s pores… But he recalls the calming words of his soon-to-be lovah.

Hah. I almost thought he would exclaim “Ore wa katsu!” after his brief dramatics. Alas, he remembers his sexual preference and relegates the rousing phrase in the shounen fighting category. And we all know their protagonists are supposed to be attracted to those missing their Y-chromosomes, with the exception of PoT, of course.

With renewed vigor, the freshie seeks out the remaining captains. He completes his mission without looking at the contents of the letter. Little does he know. Mr. Prez successfully pimps his unsullied arse out to all student leaders of the academy for a warm welcome. As soon as the freshie realizes the heartfelt acceptance, he breathes a sigh of relief and anticipates for the party soon to be held on his behalf.

The wild goose chase surprisingly stimulates interests in the letter. I was truly interested in the contents, to the point of almost skipping right down to the last act. ^^;; Oddly enjoyable, as usual.

BTW, have you seen the teaser scene between the student prez and the vice-prez? I love it.
