Good Witch of the West: Episode 03

Now, I know why Adale charms me. No, it is not her grace nor her beauty. No, it is not her lady-like qualities. No, it is not because of her likeness to Hachikuro’s Hagu. It is simply because of she is in fact one of us. And when I say us, I mean, fangirls who appreciate the beauty of boys’ lurving. Princess Adale’s imaginative mind sends this fangirl in a peal of laughter. My affection for this lady has gone up several notches. Whee for BL writing.
Audiences learn that the Good Witch of the West is, in fact, an academy to seduce men. Whoa. Even with my usually over-active imagination, I would have never guessed that in a million years.
Firiel enters the uber-charm school and finds herself a target of organized bullying. The leader of the pack, the student president Ravenna. She screams of the stereotypical villainess, with a hint of tyrannical rule. She reminds me terribly of Lavinia (A little Princess). Let us just say, you don’t want to get in her bad side.
We are on to episode three and the body tolls up. Two minor but, arguably, significant characters sacrificed their lives for storyline advancement. I am enjoying this already. There’s nothing like fairy tales and violence before bedtime.
Hmmm. Watching this series makes me want to marathon Rose of Versailles. Yes, I have not seen it yet. Oh, the sacrilege. ;p
P.S. The Good Witch of the West’s ED theme reminds me of the band Loveholic. Weird.
