One Piece: Episode 182

How do you pick the brain of the oh-so-great-one? Rubber versus electricity seems simple enough. But to weave an adventure around these natural enemies — in a relatively credible and logical manner — is pure genius. I once again bow before the great Oda-sensei. You rock my world. Sorta.

After the witnessing the Enel’s ineffective attacks to Luffy, Nami realizes the logic behind the null effect of electricity to rubber. Hah. She just realizes this now. And I thought she is the smart one… Then, Luffy shatters Enel’s macho posturing and beats the heck out of the annoying one. Thank gawd for that. Pun, slightly intended. Hee.

Any Luffy battle is worth watching. However, the pounding of Enel is plain awesome. Why? Just because Enel is too darn irritating. Too bad, we still have quite a few rounds before the inevitable fall of the pseudo-god.
