Princess, Princess: Episode 04


Yuujirou turns out to be… straight? And he even like gals with large bosoms? Erm, is he for real? Or is he in utter denial? I vote for the latter. Hee.

On Yuujirou’s birthday, he and Tooru go out on a date, in the guise of picking up girls. They fail miserably at their attempt to hide their true nature. In the end, they decide to head home and immerse themselves in a heart-to-heart talk. Oh, the angst!

In the first days of summer, Yuujirou ad Tooru begins to develop a bond, not uncommon for future lovahs. Unfortunately, they are still in the early stages of sexual confusion. So I’ll forgive them for their seeming obliviousness. But as the ED sequences suggest, they are in for a very nice surprise. *coughs*

Princess, Princess is turning out to be one hilarious ride, with laugh-out-moments and constant snickering. While far from the best this season, the chemistry between the Princess trio — Yuujirou, the constant bully, Tooru, the semi-mediator, and Kouno, the usual victim — consistently entertains in its subtle mockery and innuendoes. Gawd, if this keeps up, I might end up getting the tankoubons.

Random thoughts. Images of some kind of tentacle-rape popping up in this genre is too surreal. I honestly would have never expected it in this series.
