wooow, I love your taste in manga!! Basara, looove it. Hana Yori Dango, uuused to love it, stopped reading it because of some…parts…*AHEM* and skip beat!! about my first manga that I read from translations…and also kagen no tsuki! I only read about it on wikipedia, but I want to read it so bad, do you know where I should go? Searching for some scans is what led me here.

Bara no tame ni scanlations are out but only so far as upto chapter 28 on mangavolume, I just wish more scanlations can be done, Im hooked

My Japanese husband and I just started a blog where we translate and discuss the classic shojo manga “Poe no Ichizoku” by groundbreaking manga-ka Moto Hagio. It’s a complex, poignant story about a family of vampires who travel through time. Please stop by and leave comments–we’d love for this groundbreaking manga-ka to gain a much wider audience outside of Japan, and eventually want to translate as many of her works as we can (currently very little is officially published in English).

As for Juuousei, we (me+Asuki from the jyu_oh_sei group at LJ) are planning to scanlate it… :3 I don’t know how far we’ll get, but I already have half of the first chapter ready. (This manga has some of the longest chapters I’ve seen.)

Must find Juuousei’s manga too T_T Obviously there are no scanslations available of it, which is driving me crazy, since of course the one time I look forward to buy manga, they’re not going to have it… *sigh* Oh, well, as if I don’t have enough backlog on manga’s to buy anyway xD

Yeah, Furuba has kinda dragged on, but upon rereading it again, I just fell in love all over again. I wish the scanlations for volumes 19-22 is out already… OK, so vol 22 isn’t out yet, so sue me =3

I don’t think I’ve read any of Hagio Moto’s works. I’ll definitely check out ‘Thomas no shinzou’. I wonder if Sasuga Bookstore has them. Ugh, I wish there was an English translation. IT’ll make my life much easier. T_T

I didn’t realize that Juuousei is adapted from a manga series. I assumed it was an original teleplay for tv.
