SInce Sarah, a character from his past whom he vowed to protect -- exists in his past, there is continuity in his arc. Atori can sell the shift in his character without audiences feeling robbed. Well, I'm off to watch ep22 and 23. I hope they won't disappoint. I love Atori’s protectiveness for Miho. Atori's indeed a great character. Especially his feelings for Miho made a huge impact. I'm wondering how he would've wound up if she wasn't there with him. :) Noein = Awesomeness.

I truly disliked Atori at the show's beginning, and thought that he would be a mere minor villain, but after he returned sans memory he became my favourite cast member with ease, although I am not sure if I prefer his amnesiac mode or his restrained-pyscho persona unleashed in these latter episodes.
