That stupid emperor, he’s always like a child!
But he’s handsome, kind, cute, and he’s likes men that women!
Why is he always not popular like General Ran who been guarding him all the time?!
Anyway, this story was almost the fun begins to me!!!

Sub’s finally out o.O; So sorry for the late comment xD

Anyway, I found it rather silly that it took everyone in the series 4 episode to figure out Seiran’s identity while I was going “Silver hair! SEIran! SEIen! HELLO?!” xD;; (Of course sometimes it’s misleading but being shoujo, it’s such a blatant shoutout!)

I have to join all of you in the Saiunkoku Monogatari praise! It’s plain awesome how fast it moves and how well it develops its characters. I’ve seen all nine eps so far and I crave more. It’s a pity that the subs take so long, my japanese leaves to desire better.

The only small minus in my book is the fact that there is no Ryuuki x Seiran (or Seiran x Ryuuki, I don’t mind the seme/uke role distribution between the two) for my BL thriving soul.

I can only echo you in how much I adore SaiMono. Before watching it, I had a feeling it could either go the path of “too much bishi, too little substance” or “complete and utter boredom,” but it only took one episode for me to realise how perfect the show is. It has a great setting and designs, an intrigue-based plot that is actually moving and a set of interesting characters. If there ever was a reason to learn how to fansub, SaiMono is it.

Indeed, the plot’s moving real quick and I too see ‘epic’ on the horizon. I don’t think I’ll enjoy the weekly wait once I’ve caught up. :)
