It is mid-July and this impulsive shopper has not purchased any anime/manga related goodies for the month. Seriously. Methinks, I didn’t miss a whole lot so I set my sights on the eighth month of the year.

August. My birth month. It’s a great excuse to spend hard earned money. Forget 401k. Think instant gratification.

See the evilness of the studios? Of course, the smitten fan would choose the supposedly less expensive DVD-CD combo. Once you acquire the item, you realize that it is the limited edition. So if you’re some kind of wacko like me, you’d be forced to collect the more pricey editions.

I’m so glad Fantastic Children was licensed, as well as Basilisk. Truthfully though, I’ve only recently finished the latter. And all I can say is “Whoa!”.
