Daily bits: Off-topic

Woo-hoo. I’ve been informed that Jane Austen’s Persuasion will be adapted into a TV series. And guess who plays Anne Elliot’s father? Tony Head snagged the part.

Out of all Jane Austen novels, Persuasion is my favorite book. I was introduced to Anne’s tale by watching the 1995 film adaptation. And I LOVED IT.

I do wonder how ASH will perform as the pompous and unsympathetic Sir Walter Elliot. I tend to think of him as Mr. Giles.
