It seemed really forced. I do like that Kyo and Tohru ended up together though. I thought the last few pages were really sweet. For some reason, Akito turning good so quickly didn't bother me so much. I guess I just like to believe every anime/manga bad guy isn't truly bad, and this just fit the pattern (not that she wasn't a crazy bitch). Oh, and Momiji alone is so sad :( I’m glad I’m not the only one who hated Yuki and Machi together. It seemed really forced. I do like that Kyo and Tohru ended up together though. I thought the last few pages were really sweet.

For some reason, Akito turning good so quickly didn’t bother me so much. I guess I just like to believe every anime/manga bad guy isn’t truly bad, and this just fit the pattern (not that she wasn’t a crazy bitch).

I am saying that everytime you read this story you will find more and more things that make sense with their backstorys and that Takaya indeed DID know EXACTLY how she wanted the story to unfold since volume 1. Example: When Kyo is being teased about letting himself be hugged by a girl he says, "What is she -- what is a GIRL doing here anyway?" okay so look he said SHE and then PAUSED and said girl to COVER UP what he felt was a indication that he knew her. So dont say she made a mistake with a huge climax and short sappy ending because that was really the only way she could do it. Don't complain about how it ended. What there is all that FB is so if you don't like pairings and ending then HOW are you a FB fan? Its a story of a girl falling in love with a boy that really knew her as a kid and she meets him agin and she halps him and then she sees that she too needs him and thay overcome obstacles and end up together forever. Its about acceptance and seeing past whats on the outside like Kyo's true form and Tohru's polite exterior. I am not trying to sound all fluffy but that really is what this series is and if you hate so many things about it then write a fanfiction or find a new series. But please don't disrespect a series I've read entirely over 50 times and seen in Jap and Eng at least 10 times. I mean most things actually do have an answer. Like why Kureno's curse majically broke 10 years ago when he was 16. Well we know the curse breaks when the cat loves and is loved in return right? Well Kyo started to truely love Tohru as a kid because he said he was constantly thinking about her happiness and laugh and he watched her that day. So that had to be when Kureno's curse broke. Then as they fell in love again 10 years later all the other zodiac's curses began to break. It makes perfect sense. The only loophole is Momiji never telling his mother the truth.
