If you can spare any time from your otaku pleasure, please visit the Handwriting Repair [tm] web-site at http://learn.to/handwrite — it has made many a formerly illegible writer into a good-handwriting otaku.

>>More details on “Frugal Otaku!” I’m sooo sad I missed that!

They gave a handout that lists where to purchase anime and manga. It's mostly the stores mentioned in the AB forums. But I like the advice they gave about buying R4s instead of R1s. They said companies would usually use the English subs/dubs of the R1s and slap a different (and most of the time much prettier) artwork on the R4s. And to those collecting the R2s, they said to try the Taiwanese versions (the legit ones). They said it's cheaper.

I remember them mentioning to wait for about thirty days after the thinpaks are released. The price of the singles will surely drop drastically.

Oh, and I love that they have so much disapproval to the ADV sales.

I'll try to scan the handout if I ever find the paper.

>>Did you meet any other bloggers?

Unfortunately, I didn't. I kept on posting notes on the BB but they kept taking it down. =(

>>did you get a chance to stop by the Tofu Records or TokyoPOP booths in the Industry Hall?

Yes, I browsed around those sections. I was very much tempted in the Tokyopop booth, though. I had to stay away. Hee.

>>I kept my ears peeled for someone saying they’d “pull a moy” in the dealers room, but I didn’t catch it once. Shame on you.

Hah. I did uttered those words while queuing. However, the dude in front of me thought I was speaking in a weird language. Not in the Dealer's room, though. My brain was pretty much focused on controlling my impulse to buy everything in sight.

Hmmm. I want a T-shirt saying, "Have you pulled a moy?".
