Ten things I slightly hate about (running) Duh!

Blogging is a great de-stressing tool. Yet sometimes I would find myself pulling my hair in annoyance because of blogging. It is inevitable, really.
1. Repetitive questions on how to download “stuff”. Gah. Nobody wants to do a little research anymore. I wish I had a hundred bucks every time asks me one of the most annoying queries after the boom of digital fansubbing, “Where can I download [insert some bloody series]?”. Ugh.
2. Cutting back reading time. Yes. I read. A lot. However, blogging somehow managed to bump off precious hours from my reading time. Then again, when I happen to find myself reading more books, the blogging percentage dwindles down, which bothers me too. I can never win.
3. Finding non-existent metaphors. Blogging in an episode-by-episode basis requires a relatively critical viewing. How else can I explain my obsession of pinning down Saya and Creed as extensions of Train Heartnet’s psyche (Black Cat)?
4. Loss of anime and manga time. (See number two.) The time spent on composing an entry or a recap could have been used in more anime watching and manga reading. The irony.
5. Increase of expenditures. I enjoy the anime blogging world. I like most of the people. But regular interaction with fellow enthusiasts in a forum setting, is extremely dangerous to your pocketbook. Seriously.
6. Running out of adjectives. How many ways can one describe “interesting” and “fascinating”? Erm, wrong question. Competent writers will find no problem in this area. Alas, I am not one.
7. Writer’s block, blogger-style. Aside from the usual procrastination, it can be a pain to structure thoughts, comments, or pseudo-insights on some series eppies. Although if I am not in a mood to watch anime, I have always managed to write weird things to say. (See posts for the whole month of August.)
8. The horrors of coding. I am coding-impaired.
9. Resorting to cheap shots and mockery. Well, I do like cheap shots. I also like mockery. Therefore, I should scratch this off the list… but I have to fill it out to ten…
10. Trying to be affable to annoying half-wits. ’nuff said.
Great. I am becoming ill tempered, destitute, beleaguered, and illiterate. I scratch the “Blogging is a great de-stressing tool” bit. I lied. I have come to conclusion that I must be insane. Woe is me. And I cannot believe I survived Year 3.
I am so full of warmth and sunshine, aren’t I? That happens when your baby turns a year older.
Gentle readers, I welcome you to year four.
P.S. To those wondering why the lack of ep-by-ep posting recently, it’s just that I’m currently in no mood to blog any series at this moment.
