It seems to be earning a whole lot of approval. PGE and character development doesn't mesh well together. Even after v.6 you'll only see turtle pace advancement of the characters. I guess I enjoy its comedy so I try to be oblivious to it. XD Estara: Maybe I’ll check out Tokimeki. It seems to be earning a whole lot of approval. I worship the ground that Tomoko Hayakawa walks on simply because she makes me laugh too hard. The first episode just didn't make me laugh. It was disaster after disaster. Argh. At least, ep2 has shown me major promise. I cross my fingers. hashishime: The animation is horribly inconsistent. I expected better for NAbeshin. Sure, the WTF-factor is present but it was mostly in a bad way in the pilot. It didn't help that it was unfunny. I would've been kinder if it made me laugh. At least, I was chuckling most of the time in episode 2. Now, I'm happy blogger. For now, anyway. =D Naddie: I absolutely loved the manga. I'll stick with Tokimeki (although I managed to last through six volumes of no character development in PGE before I gave up, heh). It just took you an episode to get your head around what was really going on in this so far hilarious show. And it's a long way around. "Horrible" animation? That's like saying Picasso is horrible because his work doesn't look like DaVinci's. As you so correctly point out, it's called "funny." I mean sure the manga wasn't extraordinarily original or even *that* great but the anime didn't quite do the justice the manga needed. I also thought the boys' lips doesn't need all that much lipstick, to tell you the truth. I mean I know that's how the manga looks like, but translated into anime? Not so great. Oh well, hopefully C1 will quickly sub the next episode since you said it's better than the first ep :P I myself thought that the first episode wasn’t anything special.
